Loreli C. Buenaventura grew up writing and performing in popular theatre, and was a regular columnist in Winnipeg’s Filipino community newspapers. Now living in Toronto, Buenaventura worked many years in public relations and was Arts Editor and co-founder of the former national literary magazine Pagitica. When not working as the Manager of The Mentoring Partnership program of the Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council, Buenaventura enjoys freelance writing and broadcasting. Her works have appeared in the US and Canada. She continues to write her memoir entitled In Visibility.
