Anusree Roy recently completed her M.A. at The Graduate Centre for the Study of Drama at the University of Toronto. Her recent theatre credits include: playwright and performer of Pyaasa at Theatre Passe Muraille in March 2007; Letters to my Grandma at the 2007 F.O.O.T Festival at the University Of Toronto; assistant stage manager in the Dora-nominated Poetic License at Theatre Passe Muraille; assistant director for No Exit and The Times at York University and Straight as a line for Summer Works at Factory Theatre. She also performed a solo piece titled breathlessness for Tarragon Theatre’s 2006 Spring Arts Fair and for Hart House’s Diaspora Dialogues in January 2007. Roy recently completed her internship at Nightwood Theatre’s Groundswell Festival.
